Bancone Is Opening Another New Spot

This will be the pasta restaurant’s sixth site

Will Londoners ever fall out of love with fresh pasta? Given that Bancone is gearing up to open its sixth London location, we think not. First opened in Covent Garden in 2018, Bancone has since expanded to Soho, Borough Yards, Kensington, and the City, and now Bloomsbury is next.

The new Bancone will be a first for the group in that it’s opening inside a hotel. The 140-cover restaurant, complete with an open pasta kitchen and a 60-cover terrace, will take up residence in the Imperial hotel in Bloomsbury, which is reopening in the summer following a major refurbishment.

Bancone classics like the silk handkerchiefs with walnut butter and confit egg yolk will be on the menu, alongside dishes like bucatini cacio e pepe, pork & nduja ragu with tagliatelle, and hogget pappardelle with soy, Thai basil and chilli.
