you more Cupcakes than Cutlets? If you’ve always wanted to spend a day inside Willy Wonkers Chocolate factory or eat your way through the set of The Great British Bake off, Baketopia is for you.

As a warm up to National Baking Week, the infamous Miss Cakehead (maker of the fanny cakes) will be curating two days of baked-good heaven in Kingly Court on the 11th and 12th October. The Tattooed Bakers, Nevie Pie Cakes, Caking it and Conjurer’s Kitchen are just some of the few contributors to the project.

The Wonker-esque landscape will feature over 3,000 portions of treats for guests to help themselves to. Everything is edible (even the centrepiece, a tableau of a giant unicorn) and visitors have unrestricted access. If it isn’t attached to the floor, you’ll be able to eat it.

Tickets are sold-out for both days but you can just turn up, entrance is guaranteed to all even if you might have to wait to get your hands on frog shaped cookies from the milk fountain. It’s free entrance but guests will be encouraged to make a £2 donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, National Baking Week’s charity partner with donations going towards a kitchen for the hospitals new respiratory unit.

Get down there, fill your face with sweet treats and help charity – that’s the dream!
