like the transformed contestants caught in the smoke on ‘Stars in their eyes’ (remember that?) are duo Bad Sounds. Fresh from, well we don’t know, are the elusive duo set to send tremors through the musical sphere. Just days after releasing their debut single ‘Living Alone’, the pair have already been picked up and spat back out by Radio 1.

It’s pretty easy to see why: listening duoto their track is like sunbathing, and low and behold, you can reach the freezer for an ice lolly. You don’t have to get up for one. It’s just really lovely. We think it’s a little summertime treat that everyone can appreciate.

The sturdy track, astonishingly a demo starts like an addictive Nokia ring tone, filled with groovy far-out bass lines and slick pop vocals to inspire many a funky two step on dance floors across the land this summer. So far they seem to fall somewhere in between Stevie Wonder and Metronomy, but we’re eager to hear more of their sparkling sound…
