Backyard Cinema are back and this time they’ve gone a little more upmarket. Hosting two evenings of festive cinematic delights at The Town Hall hotel. This Wednesday see’s the screening of box office hit The Great Gatsby taking place in the original Council Chamber.
With 100 year old leather sofas you could feel like you are in the same era of the film…but don’t worry there is a modern twist with cocktails and a bespoke Backyard Cinema box containing truffle tortilla balls, charred leek hearts with leek ash emulsion and Iberico pork on a paella cracker. There’s also blankets, fresh, posh, popcorn from Jimmy Garcia and a (chocolate) cigarette girl serving you at your seat.
The second screening is ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, tickets cost £29 with Luxury Cinema Taster Box and standard film tickets are £16, but hurry seating is limited.
