Ever since Swedish brand Axel Arigato stepped onto the scene two years with their minimalist sneakers, we’ve been watching their every move waiting for them open a store in London. Finally that day has come. Their recently opened flagship in Soho is based on their minimalist aesthetic and looks more like an art gallery than a shop, but what better way is there to showcase their handcrafted shoes than marbled pedestals, stone podiums and mirrored surfaces. Designed by architect Christian Halleröd, this store goes far beyond the shoes and also stocks rare Japanese books, magazines and objects that are the inspiration behind Axel Arigato.

Whether you’re in the game for a new pair of kicks or not, you’ll be won over by Axel Arigato.
