It may be London Cocktail Week but it’s all about Portland’s finest at the Cocktail village because Aviation Gin – yes the one owned by Ryan Reynolds – is in town with a pop-up gin bar, and it’s free entry with a London Cocktail Week Pass. Aviation is an American craft gin, with more citrus and floral notes at the front and juniper in the background, making it more balanced, smoother to drink and perfect for mixing in cocktails.
Sadly Ryan isn’t making the journey across the pond but Emily Mistell and Travis Tober, two of Portland’s best bartenders, have flown over instead to mix up Aviation cocktails. It won’t be a completely Ryan-free zone though with plenty of opportunities to snap a few selfies with an image of the man himself along with your cocktails.
And if you post a pic of yourself with your cocktail at the pop-up bar on Insta tagging @aviationgin, you could be in with a chance of winning a bottle of Aviation Gin signed by Ryan.
