Luna are a four piece band from Brooklyn, NYC and like their city counterparts The Dirty Projectors are a male fronted ensemble backed by beautiful female harmonies. “I’ve never been put off, in all my life” squawks vocalist Carlos Hernandez, which introduces an amazing drop out into a saxophone solo embossed onto a warped arpeggio riff. “I’ve never been put off, in all my life” squawks vocalist Carlos Hernandez, whose perfromance recalls classic CBGB-era David Byrne. Look out for Ava Luna’s forthcoming album, Electric Balloon dropping on 10th March.
