Social Convention are proving that festival season isn’t over until they say it is, with ArtParty set to land in town at the end of September. In collaboration with Royal Docks, the completely free micro-festival will bring together talent from an array of creative fields for a packed two days in Canning Town. There’ll be DJs, live music, drag shows, performance art, flash tattoos, and food and cocktails. Among the artists who’ll be on the lineup are drag queen Séayoncé, south London jazz musician INSXGHT, DJ collective STEP-TO and immersive artist Thomas Buckley. There’ll be plenty more on the programme so make sure you keep that weekend free. But if you can’t make it, there’ll be more monthly ArtParty events to come at Social Convention’s new café, bar and production space in London’s Royal Docks.
