Artesian, The Langham’s world-renowned resident bar, has launched a new food menu in collaboration with celebrated chef Angelo Sato (of Humble Chicken). The dishes, which draw inspiration from Sato’s Japanese heritage and sustainable approach to cooking, include the likes of tuna tataki, smoked buttermilk chicken kara-age shichimi, katsu sandos and crispy pork bao sliders. To accompany the food, Artesian’s head bartender Giulia Cuccurullo has created a list of cocktails using ‘Ingredients of the Future’. Expect to see Negronis enhanced by the addition of kombu (a type of algae), Martinis infused with soil scent and Whiskey Sours topped off with crickets and chicatanas.
