Arenella has taken up residency in Islington’s Chapel Bar, popping up every Saturday and Sunday to do bottomless lunch. Yes bottomless lunch – you won’t find any eggs and avo here. Run by the team who used to own Lena in Shoreditch, Arenella takes inspo from the Sicilian seaside town near to where the owners’ mother grew up.

On the menu you can find much-loved hearty southern Italian food made using seasonal ingredients. We’d recommend starting with the bruschetta topped with pumpkin and the mozzarella arancini balls. And in true Italian style the chicken Milanese with spaghetti pomodoro and the tortellini with mushroom & truffle come in generous portions. You can wash all that down with your choice of bottomless prosecco, Aperol spritz or vino spritz for two hours.

We’d say it is pretty good bang for your buck with two courses and bottomless drinks costing only £35pp and it’s available from 12-10pm every Saturday and Sunday – so technically it can also be bottomless dinner. Thanks to their heated terrace you can socialise with people outside your bubble too. Cheers to that!
