The venue, Finsbury park has housed many historic moments, Jimi Hendrix burned his guitar onstage there, Morrissey was heckled off for performing National Front Disco there, The Stone Roses stopped off as part of their reunion tour there only this summer. It feels as though this statement event will join the ever long list of history and music at the London park, and will mark a significant moment in the timeline of a band who have almost done it all.
