After bringing us the most unusual ice cream flavours last summer, the Anya Hindmarch Ice Cream Project is back for a fourth year
Just like last year, Anya Hindmarch’s playful spirit will be out in full force this summer with the return of her Ice Cream Project concept store. This ice cream parlour doesn’t do your average scoops; instead the flavours are inspired by Hindmarch’s fave brands, taking products that would typically be found in the pantry and putting them in the freezer instead. That means the likes of Flying Goose Sriracha, Twiglets, Bisto Gravy, Garnier’s Pickled Onion, Maldon Sea Salt and Irn-Bru flavoured ice creams. Yes really.
There’s always some safer, sweeter options on offer at the parlour, like Bird’s Custard, Romney’s Kendal Mint Cake, McVitie’s Milk Chocolate Hobnobs, Ovaltine and Rowse Honey, so you don’t have to eat gravy ice cream if you really don’t want to. If you are feeling extra adventurous, book in for the Ice Cream Project Blind Tasting Tea at the Anya Cafe, where you’ll get to try 15 flavours and guess them as you go.
