Aside this slight error of the Internet, !!! or Chk Chk Chk are a clever little bunch whose genre-defying music has survived the purge of the indie/dance tag from the 00’s to ride the electronic resurgence wave of late to bring you their sixth studio album ‘As If’.
If you heard their special release Record Store Day single ‘All U Writers’ and its thumping floor-filleryness, you might have an idea of what to expect. And then again you might not.
Proving they do know how the World Wide Web works, the guys have posted not one but two teasers from the record…self-described disco odyssey ‘Freedom!’ (they love a good explanation mark, don’t they!) and R&B tinted house track ‘Sick Ass Moon’. After getting your ears around these couple of, what the band call ‘banging bangers to bang all the bangs’ we’re sure you’ll be excited for the album coming out this October and the supporting tour.
