ANDREW LINCOLN TO STAR IN A CHRISTMAS CAROL AT THE OLD VIC

When the Old Vic had to close during original lockdown, they took their theatre online and streamed performances, like Lungs starring Claire Foy and Matt Smith, online through their In Camera series instead. And since the theatre still can’t open, they’re sticking with digital with Jack Thorne’s (who wrote Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) adaptation of A Christmas Carol in December.

Andrew Lincoln is taking on the role of Scrooge, with a full cast of 15, and it’ll be performed live on stage with the audience watching from home. The ticket capacity will mirror that of the actual theatre, with the prices in line with what the physical seats would usually cost, so if you want to catch the show you’d better snap them up when they go on sale at 10am on 9th November.
