West End brasserie Joe Allen is back with another virtual cabaret evening featuring a host of famous faces to help raise money for London’s theatre industry. Dame Judi Dench is opening the evening, which will also feature Sir Ian McKellen and Jennifer Saunders in conversation with Harriet Thorpe; appearances from Christopher Biggins, Lesley Joseph, Amanda Barrie and Sherrie Hewson; a sketch performed by Maureen Lipman and Gyles Brandreth; and filmed musical performances, including a number from 42nd Street.
An Evening at Joe’s is free to stream on YouTube, with it also being uploaded to the Joe Allen website afterwards, but you can donate to the West End fundraiser here.
