Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black Is Getting A One-Night-Only 20th Anniversary Concert

Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi will reunite with The Amy Winehouse Band at the Roundhouse

Back to Black turns 20 this year, and Camden is throwing it the send-off it deserves. On Wednesday 21st October, original album producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi reunite with The Amy Winehouse Band at the Roundhouse for a one-night-only concert performing the album in full, with special guest vocalists hand-picked by the producers themselves standing in on Amy’s songs.

The lineup is stacked: Baby Rose, Corinne Bailey Rae, FLO, Jessie Reyez, Jorja Smith, Lianne La Havas, Nia Smith, Sasha Keable, Skye Newman and Yebba are all confirmed, alongside writer and producer p*nut. “Doing justice to the legacy of Back to Black is the order of the night,” said Ronson. The concert will be broadcast on BBC Two in late October and on BBC Radio 2 within Jo Whiley’s show on 26th October.

Back to Black won five GRAMMYs and has sold more than 25 million copies worldwide, and UMR/Island are marking the anniversary with a series of deluxe reissues on 23rd October, featuring unreleased demos, rare B-sides, a live recording from Amsterdam’s Paradiso and previously unseen photos. It’s a fitting moment for Camden to celebrate one of its own.

General tickets go on sale Thursday 1st October at 10am via metropolismusic.com. Pre-ordering the 20th anniversary reissue from the Amy Winehouse Official Artist Store by 12pm on Monday 28th September unlocks an artist pre-sale code.
