four years after her passing, the documentary of North London born Amy Winehouse is set for live screenings as well as a Q&A session nationwide on Tuesday 30th June 2015 from the London premiere. Amy: The Girl Behind The Name, directed by BAFTA Award winning director Asif Kapadia, explores the singers life and includes previously unseen footage and unheard tracks from Winehouse’s archive. The documentary trailer, as seen below, shows clips of Winehouse as a teenager in home videos, winning her five Grammy awards in 2008 for single ‘Rehab’, album ‘Back to Black’ and Best New Artist, the recording of ‘Back to Black’ and also being followed by the paparazzi outside her home in Camden.

Amy: The Girl Behind The Name will be available in cinemas in the UK from Friday 3rd July and worldwide from Friday 10th July 2015.
