We’ve been playing her stuff a lot lately and now Amber Arcades has shared another newbie, the video for ‘Can’t Say That We Tried’ from her upcoming EP Cannonball. The vid which is directed by Don Josephus Raphael Eblahan and is full of dreamy aquarium vibes (watch it and you’ll see) came about after Annelotte came across Don’s work via his Facebook profile. As she explains, “The week after my label guy told me it would be good to have a video for this song and I just thought about this fishy video. Like how the fish just float around, not knowing that there is this whole world outside of this aquarium, it’s beautiful but also kind of sad, which is how I feel about this song.”
