AMAZING GRACE TO OPEN IN LONDON BRIDGE

Ever wanted to get pissed up in a church? Well, this is the closest you’re gonna get, thankfully there’s more than just communion wine on offer at the new London Bridge venue. Amazing Grace sits inside St Thomas’ Church, which was originally built in 1192 and will be host to live music accompanied by a 3D-mapped wall that is projected behind the stage. Drinks offering will include independent beers, exclusive cocktails and a hand-picked, spirits list that should provide you with enough Dutch courage to take to the dancefloor. Peckham’s favourite Bao spot – Mr Bao will also be taking a residency at the venue with Pork Belly Bao’, ‘Dandan Noodles’ and ‘Grilled Romanesco’ all on the menu.

The church’s original features have remained with stained glass windows, original woodwork and the altar which was built in the 1700’s. The venue also features an original Banksy artwork “Christ With Shopping Bags” which you can shamelessly snap on your Insta Story. “As a team of live music fans, we’re making it our mission to bring the best talent, both local and global to our stage in the coming months,” says Amazing Grace co-founder Vineet Kalra.

Opens Fri 15th October 2021
