Our fave sustainable footwear brand Allbirds is popping up in Selfridges’s Wonder Room with a Carbon Concept Store to help educate people on what carbon actually is, illustrated through the use of black spheres (made from plant-based materials) to represent the amount of carbon emissions generated by its different shoes. The whole space features low carbon and circular materials, including FSC-certified plywood, recycled wool, recycled bouclé and Allbirds’s Plant Leather. You’ll also get a first look at Allbirds’ M0.0NSHOT design, the world’s first net zero carbon shoe made with carbon negative regenerative wool, and be able to shop the brand’s bestsellers and latest Courier style.
