Alexander Wang is no stranger to streetwear but he’s taken things up a notch with his eagerly anticipated adidas Originals collab. The monochrome 84-piece unisex collection is inspired by the idea of counterfeit goods, with prints of non-disclosure agreements and email conversations featuring on numerous pieces.
Signature adidas elements have also been given the Wang twist…the three stripes are now inverted and the trefoil logo has been flipped upside down. Very simple but bloody effective. Wang gave the world a sneak peek of the range at the end of his own NYFW show, and instead of putting the whole lot online for us to buy now, he’s dropping it in stages…a nine-piece capsule has been available at pop-ups in New York and will be heading this way on 17th September, before the full collection arrives next spring.
