Alexander McQueen’s iconic Savage Beauty exhibition will be on show at the V & A museum next spring. Yep that’s Spring 2015 and whilst that might seem like a long way, away tickets went on sale today, Friday 25th April, 2014 at 10am….with demand so high the website crashed….

We’re not surprised given the hype that surrounded the exhibition when it was first show in NYC in 2011. In partnership with Swarovski the exhibition will display pieces from his 1992 MA graduate collection (the one with Isabella Blow purchased the whole of and is credited with helping him hit the big time) and his infamous RAPE catwalk show to his a/w 2010 collection which remains unfinished due to his death.

A must visit for any McQueen and fashion fans out there.

UPDATED 25TH JAN 2015: The show has now been extended for two weeks due to the speed at which the tickets sold out. Now closing 2nd August 2015
