an afternoon tea for 7p? We should say so! Especially when it’s at the five-star Langham hotel. The hotel which runs the same promotion every year is offering people afternoon tea at 1865 prices, the year in which the hotel launched it’s famous afternoon tea costing a mere 7p or 1 shilling, 6 pence.

The tea will be served in Palm Court, one of the most popular destinations for afternoon tea and it usually costs £38. The special Wonderland Tea was created to coincide with the release of Alice in Wonderland and won the 2010 Top London Afternoon Tea Award from The Tea Guild.

There will be 60 afternoon teas served on Friday 10th June at 11:30am. If you want to be in with a chance of a table you need to register your details online before Tuesday 31st May.
