The hotel which runs the same promotion every year is offering people afternoon tea at 1865 prices, the year in which the hotel launched it’s famous afternoon tea costing a mere 7p or 1 shilling, 6 pence.

The tea will be served in Palm Court, one of the most popular destinations for afternoon tea and it usually costs £38. The special Wonderland Tea was created to coincide with the release of Alice in Wonderland and won the 2010 Top London Afternoon Tea Award from The Tea Guild.
