ELSE MATTERS
CLUB AC30

Gosamery shoegaze gets drenched in an electronic sleet storm as Pinkshinyultrablast release their new LP ‘Everything Else Matters’. The Russian quintet capture the essence of early ethereal weave wonder with subdued, oft indistinguishable vocals gliding through melodies of amorphous tempos, polishing the sound with synths and electronic noise that allows tracks to drift elegantly in and and around genres without ever feeling dated. From the Looped operatic vocals of tracks like ‘Wish We Were’ and ‘Metamorphisis’, to the sweeping electronic wall of sounds in tracks like ‘Marigold’, to the simplistic charming melodies carried all throughout, Pinkshinyultrablast create unique sounds played without complexity.
