OTHER I
RELEASED 10TH NOVEMBER 2014, BELLA UNION

London based 2:54’s sophomore album ‘The Other I’ is a perfect example of how best to utilise the power of silence in music. Though the haunting, atmospheric instrumentation and strong, ethereal vocals could draw comparrisons to bands like Esben and The Witch, it’s the sparse nature of this album that gives a truely unique feeling.

Everything is allowed to breathe, letting the simple grace shine though and giving an effortless human nature to each track. It shimmers, it echoes, it changes tempo, it makes your feet tap and your skin shiver, but all at it’s own pace…which is just as well because it’s flu season and excessive shivering and tapping could easily be mistook for something nasty. Get involved…
