have gone and done it again. As if a collaboration with Levi’s wasn’t enough, the iconic store has teamed up with yet another denim label, AG Jeans to create a beautiful thirteen piece capsule collection of pretty pale denims.

AG Jeans are known for their minimalist clean silhouettes, it’s a true L.A brand. Adriano Goldschmied, aka Mr AG is considered to be the ‘Godfather’ of denim. The guy seriously knows his denim, having influenced brands such as Diesel, Replay, Citizens of Humanity, and Goldsign, one of the most premium denims in the world.

It’s refreshing to see the sleek label collaborate with such a conceptual print brand such as Liberty. Where did their inspiration come from? The iconic Liberty floral, obviously, as well as a sweet note to spaghetti westerns.

They have reworked three key prints from the Liberty archives: Prarie Rosa, Esteban and Cassidy. The collection focuses on floral-on-denim and repeats the prints throughout. The micro prints has been given the AG colour treatment to create a pale, pretty pastel palette (jeeez – how many Ps was that!) of soft focus indigos. Each print has been designed to fade and change over time. They will soften into the denim, personalising each piece. Super cool, who wants the same as everybody else?

Samuel Ku, Creative Director of AG says “Liberty’s timeless floral prints and AG’s peerless fit, fabric and finishes have resulted in a sublime marriage of floral print and denim,”

We think mixing the collection with a key trend for Summer, bright shoes will give your wardrobe an instant hit of sunshine. Try a pair of coral heels for a night out or simply your favourite battered Converse to the pub.

The whole collection definitely has an English garden feel to it, perfect for summer nights of Pimm’s in the park. Our favourite piece is definitely the Bianca Collette chambray shirt.

Head down to Liberty to check out the exclusive collection now.
