A VAGINA MUSEUM IS OPENING IN CAMDEN
After popping up around the country over the last couple of years, the Vagina Museum is finally getting a permanent home in Camden Market. It’ll be the first permanent museum dedicated to lady parts in the world – obviously there’s been an equivalent penis one for ages – and its aim is to raise awareness of gynaecological health, to get people talking about it more and to promote feminism, women’s rights and LGBT+ rights.
The first exhibition Muff Busters: Vagina Myths and How To Fight Them opens on 16th November but before that, the museum is playing host to a load of events from vulva crochet to naked stand-up.
In the meantime, check out all the other top exhibitions on in town right now.
Opens Sat 5th October 2019
Unit 17&18 Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road, London, NW1 8AH
