Get ready for a damn fine slice of pie
It’s the 35th anniversary of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks this year, and this summer both the original series and Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series are dropping on MUBI, so to celebrate, the streaming service is bringing the show to life. For one day only this June, the New River Cafe in Stokey is being transformed into a Twin Peaks diner experience, inspired by the Double R Diner featured in the series.
Mam Sham are behind the menu, which includes cups of coffee and slices of pie for you to enjoy Dale Cooper-style, and there’ll also be limited-edition Twin Peaks goodies available to win throughout the day too. The diner, operating on a walk-in only basis, is just the start of a summer of Twin Peaks fun; NTS Radio will be getting listeners to create their own mixes inspired by the show, MUBI will be partnering with A Gathering of the Angels, the festival dedicated to David Lynch, and more.
