It’s been taking over the internet and now social media platform TikTok is taking over the stage with an IRL live show for the first time. Running at the London Palladium across the May Bank Holiday weekend, the For You Stage will feature some of the biggest creators on the platform in a show that’ll be a mash-up of sketches, games, comedy, music and viral dances, set on a stage that looks like a giant phone.
It’s written by Joe Charman, who used to be big on Vine (remember Vine?) before TikTok came along, and it’s hosted by Steven McKell, who’s got millions of followers on the platform. UK TikTok stars @itzshauni, @dj_rangster, @surfaceldn, @mermaidgraceofficial, @shanaeandrenae, @Goubtube, and @rhia.official (with a total of over 30 million followers) will all be a part of the production and fans will also be able to submit their own content throughout the show too.
