It’s not Christmas without a Christmas show and Selfridges has got Glyn Fussell (co-founder East Creative, home of Sink The Pink) to create another festive production for the Ultralounge, which is being turned into a silver-covered Cabaret Club. For his third time working with the department store, Glyn is bringing us A Thoroughly Modern Revue; a mix of vaudeville, cabaret, sketches, songs and dances, featuring Jayne Adams, JonBenet Blonde and Le Fil as well as house band The What? And if that wasn’t fabulous enough, throughout the run special guests like Jonny Woo and Le Gateau Chocolat will hold short residencies linking into the main show.
With Nyetimber providing the fizz, Selfridges Food Hall providing the snacks and Bistrotheque also on hosting duties with a table service cabaret bar, A Thoroughly Modern Review is set to be the glitziest, campest Christmas show in town.
