A THERMAL BATHS IS OPENING IN CENTRAL LONDON

If your idea of self-care involves a long soak in the tub, you’ll defo want to take a dip in the new thermal baths opening in Central London this summer. AIRE Ancient Baths, which creates a modern version of thermal baths in restored historical buildings, is opening its first London site inside an 18th century building in Charing Cross. Inspired by the Greek, Roman and Ottoman traditions of bathing, the 14,000 sq ft baths will feature a series of pools including the Tepidarium (36º), the Caldarium (40º) and the Frigidarium (14º) as well as a jet bath, a steam bath and a salt bath, made extra zen with candlelight and soothing music.

And it’s not just the water that will help you relax and unwind as AIRE Ancient Baths also offers treatments – there’s the Himalayan Salt Experience with a body scrub and hot stone massage, and the Wine Ritual with immersion into Spanish Ribera del Deuro red wine and a grape seed oil massage (but sadly no wine to drink). Who’s ready for a spa day?

Opens summer 2021
