It may not be easy to travel to Italy this summer but that doesn’t mean we have to miss out on la dolce vita because Theo Randall is bringing Italy to us with his Taste of Italy menu at his restaurant at the InterContinental Hotel Park Lane. Taking inspo from his travels across the country, Theo has created a £50 four-course set menu, with wine pairing, that showcases a different region of Italy each month using seasonal ingredients to create classic dishes specific to each area.
The current menu is Veneto, and features the likes of beef carpaccio, fish stew with a tomato & fennel broth, and tiramisu, and from August it changes to the Emilia-Romagna menu, with dishes including sheep’s ricotta & parmesan tortelloni, roasted guinea fowl stuffed with marscapone with braised greens, and chocolate, rum & nut cake.
