You’ve seen all the Marvel and DC movies up on the big screen and now you too can journey through the golden age of comics as an immersive Superheroes Bar is popping up in Hoxton. After you suit up with a cape and mask, you journey a black-and-white cartoon world (designed to mimic the pages of a comic book) before you test out your new superpowers by shaking up your on bevs at an interactive workstation. All the drinks will be inspired by comic books and superheroes and will have multi-sensory effects like UV and smoke.
The pop-up comes from the same team behind the wizarding-themed cocktail experience The Cauldron, so that should give you some idea of what to expect. Tickets start from £29.99 and include three drinks and all the gear, so you can leave the fancy dress at home.
