Get £5 Sandos at Panadera’s New Bakery

Florence Mae Maglanoc and Omar Shah are taking their Filipino bakery central

Panadera in Kentish Town, one of the sites belonging to the Maginhawa group (which also operates the likes of alongside fusion ramen joint Ramo Ramen, ‘dirty ice cream’ brand Mamasons and modern Filipino restaurant Donia in Kingly Court), has made a name for itself as one of the best bakeries in the capital. People head there for its garlic cheese pandesal, strawberry matcha cookies, buko pandan frappes, and corned beef hash sandos, which are some of the finest sarnies in London.

And now there’s even more Panadera to go around as a second location is opening in Marylebone, just round the back of Selfridges. As well as serving up all the Panadera classics, the new bakery will also feature some brand-new additions to the menu, including the Panko Aubergine Sando (made with panko-coated and fried aubergine, sun-dried tomatoes, homemade hummus and melted mozzarella) and Ube Toast (a sweet sando filled with homemade ube jam and a slab of French butter).

Those sandos are typically priced at around £7-9, but we’re teaming up with Panadera to knock that down to just a fiver for Sausage Press fans for the whole of opening week. Here’s how to redeem the offer…

To get £5 sandos at Panadera Bakery, drop by the new Picton Place site from Fri 6th – Fri 13th September and flash your copy of the Sausage Press sandwich zine, which will be just £6 from now until the end of the offer – so there’s even more reason to get one.
