It joins the brand’s flagship site in Holborn
It seems you can’t have too many bakeries in London as a second outpost of Fred Bakery, founded in 2021 in Holborn, has just opened off Oxford Street. Architecture and design firm Red Deer has done a real number on the interiors; the split-level site is looking very Parisian and très chic, with cafe curtains, dark wood, and marble counters displaying the goods in all their glory.
The menu features artisanal breads, pasties, and sandwiches, including:
- cinnamon roll
- apple crumble danish
- triple chocolate hazelnut cookie
- ham & cheese suisse
- parma ham ciabatta
- mortadella panini
- focaccia pizza with burrata and tomatoes.
With coffees and seasonal hot drinks also on offer, Fred is a good place to warm up away from the chaos of Oxford Street this winter.
