A SAFE SPACE NOW VIRTUAL EXHIBITION

UN Women UK is launching a new virtual gallery of original artwork that explores a safer reality for women and marginalised individuals. After new data showing the majority of women and girls in the UK are experiencing sexual harassment in public spaces, they’re demanding change through the Safe Spaces Now project. It will display artwork from over 1,000 women and girls representing the voices, stories and ideas shared within the UN Women UK community, including everything from photography and protest banners to original songs and slam poetry. Doors will open on 2nd April and it’s free to take a peek and show your support.

Opens Fri 2nd April 2021
