THE YAYOI KUSAMA INFINITY ROOMS ARE COMING TO THE TATE IN 2021

Had the pandemic not gotten in the way, we would have been smack in the middle of Yayoi Kusama madness (remember the pumpkins at Victoria Miro in 2016?) with an infinity room exhibition at Tate Modern. The show got postponed but it is still happening, with the gallery now hosting two of her installations – the large Infinity Mirrored Room – Filled with the Brilliance of Life and Chandelier of Grief, which gives the illusion of endless rotating chandeliers – this year. The rooms will be presented alongside a small collection of photographs, some of which will be going on display for the very first time.

The dates have finally been confirmed and tickets are available to book now for Tate members, with general booking opening on 14th June so mark your calenders accordingly.
