A New Sports Bar Is Opening in St Paul’s With 5,000 Free Pints Up For Grabs

The Side Hustle is coming just in time for a summer of sport

The World Cup is just days away, Wimbledon is back at the end of June and there’s horse racing, cycling, cricket, rugby league, Formula 1 and more on the calendar for this summer, so there’s plenty of sporting action to soak up this summer. And now you’ve got a new place to watch it as The Side Hustle is opening in St Paul’s on 5th June.

And it’s not gonna be your average sports bar. The Side Hustle is offering a design-led take on the traditional set-up, with a modern aesthetic – think neon signs, painted wall graphics, and brick, timber and steel finishes – and playful sporting touches across the interiors. Of course there’ll be big screens showing all the matches but you can also expect plenty of photo ops inside; a menu of loaded fries, wings and burgers; limited edition merch drops that coincide with key fixtures; and a buzzing atmosphere that’ll suit both devoted fans and sporting newbies alike.

To celebrate the opening, a choir will perform two 45-minute sets outside St Paul’s Cathedral on launch day, where 5,000 branded tennis balls will be handed out, which you’ll be able to redeem for a free pint of Coors at the bar between 5th – 16th June.

“We wanted to create a sports bar for a new generation of fans, one that feels as much about the atmosphere, the people and the night out as it does about the game itself,” said Carly Pitman, head of brands at Nightcap Group, home of The Side Hustle. “It’s a more
design-led, social take on the traditional sports bar, and we’re so pleased to be opening in time for the World Cup. Beyond the tournament, we’ll be celebrating more live sport across key fixtures, so keep an eye on The Side Hustle’s socials to find out what’s on.”
