From the same team behind Ganymede and The Hunter’s Moon, The Apollo Arms will launch this May
The Apollo Arms will bring a slice of the countryside to the city this spring when it launches in Clapham in late May. With cosy interiors, a spacious beer garden and an extensive list of wines, beers and spirits, the new pub hopes to become the nabe’s new local and go-to hangout – especially as the weather heats up.
The daily changing lunch, dinner and bar snack menus will be devised by Oliver Marlowe (the pub’s Owner Chef Director) and head chef David Halewood (previously of The Coach in Clerkenwell) and will showcase high-quality British ingredients. Expect a selection of familiar favourites alongside bolder dishes, including the likes of:
- Tuna sashimi with whipped avocado
- Fowley mussels with ‘nduja and cider sauce, leeks, fennel and Morteau sausage
- Braised featherblade with truffle mayo and triple-cooked truffle & parmesan chips
- Baked Alaska
