It
may not seem like it, but Spring is on it’s way…we know this because around this time every year Spring normally starts. So a change in the season means only one thing for us, a change in our pies. Luckily those clever folk at Pieminister have created a ‘lighter pie’…No more are pies considered a big fat slob of thick sweet pastry and piping hot gravy fillings stuffed with tender meat…they are that, BUT, there is now a healthier way to scoff. British Pie Week has just passed us and Piminister knocked up three new pies that rock in at 440 calories each. Baked in a cayenne pepper, poppy seed and British hard cheese crust you can swap the chips for a salad, and a helping of slaw.
The new range features ‘Light as a Feta’, ‘Chickalito’ & ‘Kooky Chook’. We can vouch for all three being pretty ruddy bloody lovely. We tell you what, don’t take our work for it, go and have a try yourself.
