Stay out well past your bedtime at brand new cocktail spot City Arts. Now open on a historic street in the City, the late-night bar – which is open until 3am, Tuesdays to Saturdays – blends mid-century and brutalist styles to create a warm lounge feel, with stained wood panelling, soft drapes, mirrors, exposed concrete, a performance area and an external patio.
The drinks list is made up of a short selection of premium vino, a couple of beers and cocktails like the Tiramartini (Jules Clairon Brandy, Frangelico liqueur, Baileys, Kahlua & espresso shot), the Dry Cloud (mezcal, dry vermouth, Italicus Liqueur, lemon zest & orange bitter) and the My Yuzu Way (Absolut Vodka, yuzu sake, mango juice, Coco Lopez & lemon).
As well as an open to all policy and 250-person capacity, City Arts also boasts two intimate private rooms connected to the main bar by marble paving, so if you’re looking to throw a little late-night shindig, this could be the place.
