Big news for soundtrack fans: in 2025, a new festival dedicated to the music of movies, TV and video games will debut in London, and the line-up is killer. The London Soundtrack Festival (LSF) will debut next spring with a Gala Concert at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall, where Academy Award-winning composer Howard Shore will receive the inaugural LSF Christopher Gunning Inspiration Award. Other highlights will include an evening of music curated and performed by Oscar-winning composer Hildur Guðnadóttir (Joker and Tár) and a screening of the full Lord of the Rings Trilogy at the BFI IMAX with an introduction by composer Howard Shore.
