A MASSIVE NEW THEME PARK IS COMING TO LONDON

Paris has Disneyland and now London is getting its very own theme park – well more like Dartford but it’ll be just 17 minutes by train from St Pancras. The 535 acre resort (that’s equivalent to 136 Wembley Stadiums) will be on the Swanscombe Peninsula on the banks of the Thames and will include a theme park, a water park, a hotel and a whole range of restaurants, shops and other entertainment venues.

Planned areas for the London Resort include The Jungle filled with ruins of a lost civilisation, the high-octane movie-themed The Studio and the sci-fi inspired Starport, and the likes of Paramount Studios, the BBC and ITV Studios will help create some of the ‘next generation’ rides and experiences.

Construction is slated to start next year, with the first part of the resort opening in 2024 and the second part coming in 2029, so you’ve still got a while to wait for this one.
