You’ve done the Monopoly Pub Crawl, now it’s time to play the game for real as a LIFESIZED version of Monopoly is coming to town. Combining the best bits of the board game with escape room elements and immersive 4D production, Monopoly Lifesized will feature a full-sized board for players to move around on guided by their Monopoly token, to earn money, dodge jail, and acquire properties by completing challenges. Each property square will have a full-size, location specific room where players will have to solve a puzzle related to that part of London in order to gain that property.
As well as four different boards to choose from – Classic, The Vault, City and Junior – with each board capable of hosting between 8 – 24 people split into four teams, the massive venue on Tottenham Court Road will also be home to a shop full of merch and a Monopoly-themed bar and restaurant where you can celebrate (or argue as often happens a Monopoly game) post-play. The Top Hat will serve up British small plates, so you’ll be able to tuck into mini versions of fish & chips, stuffed pork belly & apple sauce, rump steak with parsnip mash & mini Yorkie, and strawberries & cream Eton mess, alongside cocktails that reference different areas of the board.
