A KISS UNDER THE GIANT MISTLETOE

a magnificent, cascading five-metre mistletoe chandelier…having trouble? Not anymore as you can see that very sight this week as it is unveiled at the entrance of The Old Post Office at 116 Upper Street. So what does this mean…it means we’re all in for a snog right? You might have to wait in line however as the first couple to kiss under Islington’s mistletoe chandelier will be Dorothy and Eric Riley – a tradition the couple have embraced for the 70 years of their marriage…and still snogging strong!

Once the Riely’s are done you are invited to share a kiss with loves ones throughout the duration of the Christmas festivities. You can even share your romantic pics on Twitter using the hashtag #LoveIslington which might lead to winning a pair of tickets for performances at The Almeida Theatre, Sadler’s Wells. Now isn’t that lovely?
