A FRENCH TOAST CAFE HAS OPENED IN LONDON

We’ve already had dedicated cereal and pancake restaurants so it was only a matter of time before other brunch fave French toast got a spot of its own to shine. Crome, now open just behind Selfridges, is London’s first French toast cafe and it’s serving up a whole range of eggy breads. If savoury is your jam, you can choose from the likes of smashed avo & hollandaise, salt beef brisket with pickles & red cabbage, mushrooms with black truffle cheese sauce, and the more unusual combo of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos with triple cheese sauce & chilli.

If you’ve got more of a sweet tooth, you can get your French toast topped with Lotus Biscoff spread & caramelised bananas, salted caramel & chocolate, or even stuffed with Nutella and loaded with caramel popcorn & brownies. And it that wasn’t enough, Crome also does coloured lattes – including matcha, beetroot, saffron and black charcoal – as well as red velvet and Oreo Spanish lattes and Biscoff and ube frappes, so if you like snapping your drinks for the ‘gram, this is the place for you.
