This Thursday will mark what would have been Amy Winehouse’s 40th birthday, so Camden Market is hosting a memorial event in honour of the legendary singer. From midday on Thursday, vendors will be selling pink carnations next to Camden’s statue of Amy and visitors will be invited to leave a birthday message for the star. All proceeds from the sale will go towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which helps change the lives of young people and will also be celebrating its 12th anniversary on Thursday. Plus, Amy’s original band is getting back together for a show at KOKO this December – grab tickets when they go live, also on the 14th September.
