A CROISSANT CAFE IS COMING TO LONDON

There’s already a cracking selection of places to get a flaky pastry in the capital but a new spot dedicated to the OG croissant is opening in Soho. Taking over the old HipChips site on Old Compton Street, Criss Cross is re-inventing the classic into something a lot more bougie and with chef Roberto Guzzi in charge of the kitchen, you bet they’re a treat for the eyes as well as the mouth.

Throw out the butter and jam, because this menu looks next level. From sweet options including the likes of matcha blueberry; yuzu and black sesame praline; and pecan frangipane with vanilla cream, to savoury options featuring whisky cured salmon and seaweed; four cheese and black truffle; and guacamole and cheese. These aren’t any old croissants. The folks at Criss Cross are also feeling generous and giving away a FREE pastry to the first 100 people through the door on opening day. Get ready, the ‘gram is gonna be flooded with pics of this one.

Opening Sat 25th September 2021
49 Old Compton Street, Soho, W1D 6HL
