If you’ve ever wanted to watch Kubrick’s subversive classic A Clockwork Orange on the big screen, here’s your chance. For the film’s 50th anniversary Underground England has teamed up with Rebel Reel Cine Club to show the movie at the Rio Cinema in Dalston. In their usual style, this will be more than just a screening: there will be a showing of a short film about brutalist architecture (which features heavily in A Clockwork Orange), a special pre-show DJ set of dystopian tunes inspired by the film, themed cocktails and even a combat boot made in collaboration with punk activist Dave Baby. Doors will open at 11pm, with the movie starting at 11.30pm.
