If you thought a quattro formaggi was a cheesy pizza, wait ’til you clap eyes on this FONDUE bad boy. Taking inspo from khachapuri, the national dish of Georgia, Pizza Pilgrims and The Cheese Bar have joined forces to create La Fonduta. The pizza features The Cheese Bar’s Cornish gouda and Kingham Cotswold hard cheese blended with the Italian ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan from Pizza Pilgrims and melted down with white wine and garlic into a glorious cheesy mass. In a nod to the traditional fondue accompaniments, the pizza is topped with proscuitto, cornichons and balsamic pickled onions. There’s absolutely no way you can cut a slice out of this baby so just rip and dip (and then go for lie down because you’ll need it).
La Fonduta, priced at £13, is only available for a few weeks, so head down to your nearest Pizza Pilgrims ASAP if you wanna get your hands on one.
